Trope Hunt collects minimal data. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and does not use cookies, does not track individuals, and does not collect personal information. We see aggregate page views and visit counts only.
If you submit a form (book suggestion or issue report), we receive the information you provide in that form. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.
If you create a profile, your email, password (hashed), and trope preferences are stored securely with our authentication provider (Supabase). You can delete your account at any time. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email is stored with our email service provider (Beehiiv). You can unsubscribe at any time.
Trope Hunt does not use tracking cookies. Our analytics provider (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless. If you create a profile, your login session is stored in your browser's local storage.

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Book cover images are loaded from Google Books. User accounts and profiles are managed by Supabase. Form submissions are stored on Cloudflare. Each of these services has its own privacy policy.
